Team Management Help

Overview

The Team Management feature allows project owners and project managers to manage team members for each project. You can invite users, assign roles, and control access to project features.

Inviting Team Members

Project Owners can invite users as either Project Manager (PM) or Member.
Project Managers can only invite users as Member.
Enter the user's email address and (if you are the owner) select the desired role when sending an invitation.
If the invited user already has an account, they are added immediately. Otherwise, they will receive an email invitation to join.

Roles and Permissions

Role	Permissions
Owner	Full control over the project and team Can invite users as PM or Member Can promote/demote any team member (except themselves) Can remove any team member
Project Manager (PM)	Can invite users as Member Can promote/demote Members (but not Owners or other PMs) Can remove Members
Member	View-only access to project tracker Cannot invite, promote, demote, or remove users

Promoting and Demoting Team Members

Owners can promote Members to PM and demote PMs to Member.
PMs can promote Members to PM and demote PMs to Member, but only if their own role is higher than the target's.
No one can promote or demote themselves or users at the same or higher level.

Removing Team Members

Owners and PMs can remove team members with a lower role.
Members cannot remove anyone.

Accessing Team Management

Go to the Team Management section from the dashboard or main menu.
Select a project from the dropdown to manage its team.
